Driven by a heart for the next generation, Elder Corbin’s commitment to youth development and spiritual excellence has transformed an inspired idea into a legacy of community transformation.

Our History & Reach

For over 33 years, Ebony Sonshine, Inc. has served as a cornerstone of hope. From the island nation of Bermuda, to New York to Florida, and from Ohio to California, the message has been taken across the globe. The Outreach Educational Program has transformed countless lives, while the AEROS ELITE basketball teams have produced trophy-winning athletes who have successfully transitioned to the collegiate level. The ESI Scholarship has been awarded to numerous dedicated participants, supporting their dreams of higher education.

As a Faith and Community-Based organization, the mission remains dedicated to impacting neighborhoods—one life at a time. The mission is to Educate, Support, and Inspire children and youth, encouraging them to reach their highest mental, physical, social, and spiritual potential.

Our Core Purpose

The purpose is to generate and enrich cultural, social, academic, artistic, musical, sports & recreational, business, and personal awareness for young people. A safe, healthy environment is created for:

  • Children & Youth: To grow, learn, play, and apply their unique skills.
  • Parents: To find wholesome activities that reinforce the development of the whole child.
  • Schools & Businesses: To facilitate school-to-work apprenticeships and internships that develop prospective employees.
  • Investors & Partners: To strategically fund learning and extracurricular opportunities that transform lives.

  

Our Departments

  • Life Development Department (LDD): “Educating, Supporting, & Inspiring Youth through Strategic Thinking” — This department is committed to more than just passing along information; it cultivates the ability for youth to analyze their world, plan their future, and act with wisdom.
  • Sports & Recreation Department (SRD): “Educating, Supporting, & Inspiring Youth through Physical Fitness” — Home of AEROS ELITE, where Tactical Thinking is cultivated, teaching youth how to analyze the field, execute a plan, and carry that discipline into their future.
  • Creative Arts Department (CAD): “Educating, Supporting, & Inspiring Youth through the Performing Arts” — Home of the Outreach Education Program, where Expressive Thinking is cultivated, encouraging youth to use their unique voices to educate, lead, and inspire change.
